Father Dennis E. Reiff


 

Father Dennis E. Reiff was born in Newark, NJ, and grew up in St. Lucy's parish was educated in the parish school, Barringer High, Newark Prep., Brookdale College and the New York School of Visual Arts, in advertising.

After working for a number of years at the Federal Pacific Company in Newark as the Director of Advertising, he began his path to priesthood. He took his degree in philosophy from St. Pius X school and completed his scriptural studies at Mt. St. Mary's Seminary in Maryland. He took his Masters in Divinity from Immaculate Conception Seminary in Mahwah and was ordained on May 30, 1981.

Over the years, Father Dennis served as a chaplain at Clara Mass Hospital, as a parochial vicar at St. John's Parish and Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Jersey City. After a few years at Our Lady of the Valley parish in Orange, Father Reiff was assigned to Our Lady of the Visitation in 2001.

Father Reiff presently help or guides our marriage preparation program, the Rosary Society, the Alpha Program, Bingo, our Bereavement Programs, Social Concerns Ministries as well as fulfilling the usual priestly duties that are part and parcel of parish life.
